Are immunizations/vaccinations safe for people with acute porphyria?

There is no evidence that any vaccines cause particular problems in people with acute porphyria. We therefore recommend that patients with acute porphyria receive necessary vaccinations, in accordance with established guidelines, under physician recommendation.
